Curriculum & Assessment

Every January-February, all English Learners in grades K-12 take the ACCESS standardized test to assess their proficiency in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing in English. Results of this test, along with other district and classroom assessments determine what level of instructional support each student may need. To learn more about the ACCESS test, please visit the website below. In late September, your child's results will be sent home along with a brochure explaining how to interpret scores and what they mean for your child.
