Discrimination and Title IX

Title IX is an important statute that was passed as part of the Education Amendments of 1972. Title IX protects everyone in a federally funded school from being discriminated against on the basis of sex.

Revere Public Schools are committed to ensuring that no member of the community is discriminated against. Title IX is an important part of our commitment to providing a safe learning experience for every student and a safe environment for all members of the school community, including teachers, faculty, and family members.

You can view information about Title IX on the US Department of Education website.
