Dr. Dianne Kelly

 

Dr. Dianne Kelly began her career in the Revere Public Schools in 1995 as a mathematics teacher at RHS.  While in the classroom, she also served as President of the Revere Teachers Association and Lead Teacher of the Mathematics Department.   Prior to being named Superintendent, Dr. Kelly served in several other administrative positions including Dean of Students at Revere High School; District Director of Mathematics; District Director of Math, Science, and Technology; and Assistant Superintendent.  Dr. Kelly has also served on several state education committees including Co-chair of the State of Massachusetts Mathematics Common Core Review Panel, the Massachusetts STEM Operations Board and the K12-Postsecondary Pathways Working Group.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics as well as her Doctorate in Urban School Leadership at the University of Massachusetts Boston.  She earned her Master’s degree in Mathematics for Educators at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Assistant Superintendent


Danielle Mokaba

 

Dr. Danielle Mokaba - Bernardo began her career in the Revere Public Schools in 1998 as a biology teacher at RHS.  While in the classroom, she also served as Lead Teacher of the Science Department.  Outside of the classroom, Dr. Mokaba-Bernardo coached girls soccer and indoor track.   Prior to becoming Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Mokaba-Bernardo served in several other administrative positions including Dean of Students at Revere High School, Assistant Principal at Revere High School and Principal of Garfield Middle School.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Bowdoin College.  She earned her Master’s degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education and her Doctorate in Urban Education, Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Assistant Superintendent

 

Dr. Gallucci

 

Dr. Gallucci  has earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts at Boston, a Master’s of Business Administration from Suffolk University, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study from Salem State College, and a Doctorate of Philosophy from the Urban Education, Leadership and Policies Study Program at the University of Massachusetts at Boston. Dr. Gallucci is a lifelong member of the Revere community, having graduated from Revere High School in 1996.  He has worked at all three middle schools in our district, serving as an ELL teacher, ELA teacher, and Literacy Coach before being appointed Principal of the Rumney Marsh Academy in 2013.  Dr. Gallucci believes in the four R’s at the heart of our district, ensuring Rigor and Relevance in our curriculum, while creating positive Relationships that elicit Resilience in our adolescent student population.  Dr. Gallucci is proud to work in his hometown of Revere and is guided by our district’s moral imperative of continuously doing what is best for kids.

Assistant Superintendent of Equity and Inclusion

 

Dr. Lourenço Garcia

 

Dr. Lourenço Garcia has more than 23 years of teaching and administration experience nationally and internationally.  He joined Revere Public Schools in 2010 as Revere High School Principal.  Previous assignments include Principal of Woonsocket High School and Assistant of Principal of William E. Tolman Senior High School (RI), Social Studies Teacher at Brockton High School (MA), and Geography Teacher at Domingos Ramos High School (Cape Verde).  Dr. Garcia earned his Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics and Doctorate in Urban Education, Leadership, and Policy Studies from the University of Massachusetts Boston.  He is currently the Executive Director of Data and Accountability -- a position that allows him to work with principals, directors, and school leadership teams on a wide-range of data sources for decision making, including district/school accountability, early warning indicator system, and other learning metrics to increase student achievement.
