Equity Advisory Board and Working Groups
Revere Public Schools is committed to ensuring that all students, faculty and families feel safe, supported, included and valued. To achieve this goal with fidelity, the Equity Advisory Board (EAB) through its Equity Working Groups (EWGs), ensures that anti-racist education, programs, policies, systems, and resources are in place. This promotes a culturally responsive, restorative, and transformative justice community that advances and sustains our efforts to create a fairer, equitable and uniform school system for our diverse students.
To ensure the work is articulated and aligned with the district’s vision of diversity, equity, and inclusion, the EAB and its EWGs meet every month. Members of the EWGs meet separately to work on problems of practice, review evidence-based, promising and innovative strategies to ensure our diverse students, faculty and families feel safe, welcome, supported and valued as individuals.
