WHE - Ana Mendoza

My name is Ana Mendoza and I am the Family Liaison at the A.C. Whelan Elementary School. I was born in Mexico and moved to Boston at a young age.  I graduated from Charlestown High School. I studied Medical Coding and I am a Certified Medical Assistant. I am fluent in English and Spanish. I have been living in the City of Revere for 29 years and have two children. My son graduated from RHS class of 2014 and my daughter is a RHS Junior class of 2024.

I previously worked for the A.C. Whelan Elementary School as a Security/Translator. I have been working for the Revere Public Schools for the past 9 years in different positions and I have seen the challenges families face due to their language barrier.

I am excited to be a Family Liaison because I enjoy helping students and families get the support they need academically and to be socially successful in the school community.
