Garfield School Community Gathers for Halloween Trunk or Treat

The annual Trunk or Treat, a fun-filled night of costumes, candy, and Halloween spirit, took place in the Garfield School parking lot with students, families, teachers, and staff in attendance.

The popular event gave students a chance to enjoy one of the season’s favorite traditions in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Kids dressed in their Halloween costumes—superheroes, princesses, witches, ghosts, and other creative characters—marched through lines of decorated vehicles, collecting treats.

Families and staff got into the Halloween spirit by decorating their car trunks with an array of creative displays ranging from spooky to colorful and festive. The creativity and enthusiasm of the participants made the evening a fun one for trick-or-treaters of all ages.

Beyond the costumes and candy, it was a chance for Garfield families to come together, visit with neighbors, and strengthen the bonds that make the school community special.

Events like Trunk or Treat bring together students, educators, and caregivers outside of the classroom, creating lasting memories for children and their families, and are cherished school traditions.

The Garfield School would like to thank the families, staff, and volunteers who gave of their time, creativity, and Halloween treats to make this year’s celebration a success. Their ongoing involvement and support create the warm and connected school community that makes Garfield such a special place.
