RMA - Claudia Basulto

Hello, my name is Claudia Basulto, and I am the Family Liaison at Rumney Marsh Academy. I am fluent in Spanish and English. I was born in Mexico City and came to the U.S. when I was 5. I grew up in East Boston, graduated from East Boston High School, and obtained an Associate’s Degree as a Legal Administrative Assistant from North Shore Community College (NSCC).

My family moved to Revere 14 years ago. My son is a graduate of Revere Public Schools and recently graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology. My daughter currently attends SBA. Seven years ago, my daughter and I became part of the Veronica Robles Cultural Center in East Boston. Through that experience, I discovered my love for helping and supporting local communities and engaging with families.

I have personally experienced, and understand, the challenges that diverse families can face. But I also know what children can achieve when they receive the right guidance and support. I would love to work together with the school and families as a bridge, helping build our children’s success, because they are our future.
